# Directions:
01 - Place elbow macaroni and water in a microwave-safe mug of at least 12 oz capacity. Stir to combine.
02 - Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir, then continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until pasta is al dente and most water is absorbed, total about 4 to 5 minutes. Monitor to prevent overflow.
03 - Incorporate milk, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Stir thoroughly.
04 - Microwave for an additional 30 to 40 seconds until cheese melts and sauce reaches a creamy consistency.
05 - Stir the mixture once more, season with salt and black pepper, then top with Parmesan cheese and smoked paprika if desired. Serve immediately.
