01 - 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
08 - 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
11 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
→ Fries
13 - 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
14 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
15 - 1 teaspoon salt
16 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika
17 - 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss potato fries with vegetable oil, salt, paprika, and black pepper. Spread fries in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until fries are golden and crisp.
02 - While fries bake, pat steak cubes dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt. Add steak cubes and toss thoroughly to coat all pieces evenly.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary. Sear each side for 1 to 2 minutes until well browned and cooked to desired doneness.
04 - Add unsalted butter to the skillet and toss the steak bites until evenly coated and glossy. Remove skillet from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
05 - Plate the hot steak bites alongside the crispy fries and serve immediately.
